Rice, fertilizer and sugar stolen from ration shops, police arrested miscreants
Dongargarh. The police have arrested 9 miscreants who stole rice, fertilizers and sugar from government ration shops. Some stolen goods have also been recovered from the accused. According to the information received from the police, the committee manager of the Tribal Service Cooperative Society Matia lodged a complaint at the Dongargaon police station that between June 30 and July 1, 109 bags of urea and 13 bags of superphosphate fertilizer were stolen from the fertilizer godown Godalwahi.
On the complaint, the police started investigation and the help of cyber cell was taken from Rajnandgaon. During this, the police got information that some people are looking for a customer to sell manure in Swaraj Mazda vehicle at a cheap price. The police reached the spot and laid siege and caught 9 accused, in police interrogation, the accused admitted to stealing, during interrogation they also admitted to stealing 70 bags of rice and three and a half quintals of sugar from the government ration shop.
