Robbery with school employee, three miscreants arrested
Dhamtari. The three accused who assaulted and looted mobile phone and money near Talpara culvert have been arrested. Lachhan Singh Mahilang had filed a report that after working from the city school, he was going to his home in village Gattasili on his motorcycle when at 07.00 in the evening, near village Talpara culvert, three unknown persons signaled the applicant and asked him to stop and they shook and beat him.
They started doing this due to which the applicant fell on the ground along with the motorcycle and then they ran away with the cash amount of Rs. 4000/- in the applicant’s pocket and a mobile phone of Vivo company worth Rs. 13500/-, totaling Rs. 17500/-.
On which the applicant came to Dugli police station on the next day on 04-01-24 and lodged a report, on which the crime number 02/24 under section 323,394,34 IPC was registered and taken under investigation by the police station in-charge Dugli.
Taking the matter seriously, Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur had given instructions to take immediate action against unknown accused. During the investigation, the incident site was also closely inspected by the Dugli police team and the police station city team. And on the basis of the appearance of the three suspects and on the basis of informer information and technical evidence, the suspects were traced to the police station city and around Dugli, Gattasilli. The team kept a constant vigil in Kar Nagar by appointing an informer and searched the address. On 14.01.24, the suspected accused were caught in their target town and strictly interrogated.
They revealed their names as Mahesh Kumar Dhruv and Akash Dhruv Digendra Kiran, all three were arrested on 03.01.2024 in Gattasilli. Was standing near Talpara culvert on the road. At the same time, the applicant Lachhan Mahilang was going home to Gattasilli on his motorcycle, after signaling him to stop, he stopped him and confessed to looting the money and mobile phone.
