RRC took stock of the construction work of employee colonies in South Kashmir.
An active one to oversee the ongoing development projects, cater to the needs of the community and continue his visit to various transit habitations in Central and North Kashmir like Baba Dariadeen, Wandhama, Ganderbal, Odiyana Bandipura and Shaikhpura Pandit Colony, Budgam in the week. Kadam Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Dr. Arvind Karwani visited South Kashmir today. Dr. Caravani’s itinerary included important sites and developmental sites important for the progress of the region. During his visit, Dr. Karwani also visited the historic Martand Sun Temple, reaffirming the cultural importance of the area. He later took stock of the progress of the upcoming sites at Mach Bawan Mattan and Vantrag, Ranbirpora, ensuring that the construction activities align with the developmental objectives. Joining the on-ground personnel, Dr. Karwani met the Junior Engineers and Assistant Executive Engineers to discuss the construction related activities, with emphasis on quality and timely completion. The visit also extended to the Transit Camp, Vesu, where Dr. Karwani assessed the facilities provided to the camp inmates, and underlined the administration’s commitment to their well-being. Furthermore, the RRC held constructive dialogue with various delegations representing Mattan and Vesu, listening to their concerns and demands. He assured a concerted effort to promote community trust and cooperation and resolve issues amicably.
