Rs 17 lakh seized from Nexon car, interrogation of the arrested driver continues

Ambikapur: Udaipur Police has achieved great success in Ambikapur district. During vehicle checking, the police seized Rs 17 lakh, currently the police is interrogating the accused by taking him into custody.

According to the information received, Udaipur Police received information that a person was going from Ambikapur to Korba with cash. After which, immediately on the instructions of SP, a team was formed and investigation was started on National Highway 130. During the investigation, the police saw a red colored Tata Nexon car coming, on investigation of which the police found cash worth Rs 17 lakh. As no concrete reason was given during interrogation, the police took the accused along with the vehicle into custody. At present the police is interrogating the accused person.

Let us tell you that elections are going to be held in the state in the coming time, in such a situation, the seizure of huge amount of cash by the police raises many big questions. The first question is, where and why was so much cash going. It was not to be used in the upcoming assembly elections. At present, this has not been disclosed by the police in any case till now.
