Rs 26 lakh seized, Khandagiri police arrested four on charges of house robbery

Bhubaneswar: According to police, they were involved in the robbery at the house of Hadibandhu Behera in Prakriti Vihar area of Bhubaneswar on October 15. Khandagiri police today busted a robbery gang, arrested four members and seized cash worth Rs 26 lakh from their possession. Those arrested have been identified as Manas Chinnara of Bidansi in Cuttack, Baishnab Ojha of Chanderpur in Jagatsinghpur, Padmalochan Mallick Nakagate of Khurda and Adhir Ojha of Janakdeipur in Jagatsinghpur.

According to the police, they were involved in the robbery at the house of Hadibandhu Behera in Prakriti Vihar area of Bhubaneswar on October 15. They had looted the house when all the family members had locked the house from outside and gone to the nearby temple to worship.
