RTC bus kills two in NTR district

Vijayawada: On Thursday, A. of NTR district. Two youths died when a TSRTC bus collided with a bicycle near a hill in Krishnaraopalem village of Konduru mandal.

Konduru sub-inspector R. Anka Rao said that although one of the cyclists died on the spot, the youth was seriously injured and was taken to hospital by ambulance 108, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased have been identified as M. Chiranjeevi, 30, and M. Ravi, 25, residents of Kanchikacherla village. They were traveling on a bicycle from Tiruvuru to Mylavaram when the TSRTC, coming from Vijayawada to Bhadrachalam, fired at them.

Konduru police have registered the case and are investigating.
