Sai palanquin procession meets with accident in Ganadevi, 11 people injured
Navsari: Devotees organized Sai Palki Yatra from Ganadevi village of Maharashtra to Shirdi temple. This palanquin journey started from Rahej village and was going towards Gandevi again. At this time, due to darkness, a bike collided with the palanquin Yatra. A total of 11 devotees have been injured in the accident. The biker who collided was also injured. The injured have been admitted to Belimora and Navsari hospitals for treatment. Complete sequence of events: Sai Palki Yatra was taken out from Ganadevi village of Maharashtra to Shirdi temple. In the morning, the palanquin going from Rahej village to Ganadevi village was hit by a bike coming from Kharel. It is being told that this tragic accident happened due to darkness at night. 11 devotees were injured in this accident. The bike rider who caused the accident was also seriously injured. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, Gandevi MLA Naresh Patel visited the hospital. The MLA talked about meeting the injured face to face.
The MLA also instructed the medical staff for intensive treatment. Ganadevi police is investigating the entire matter. Police visited the incident site and took further legal action. The condition of the bike rider is also critical: The investigating officer of Ganadevi police says that the accident happened at around 7.30 pm. In which the bike rider coming from Kharel towards Ganadevi could not see anything due to darkness and the palanquin collided with the procession. 11 people have been injured in this accident. Who are undergoing treatment in Belimora and Navsari hospitals. The bike rider has been admitted in critical condition and shifted to Navsari Civil Hospital.
