EPS is living in the spirit of God: Minister S.S. Sivasankar
Tamil Nadu: Transport and Electricity Minister S.S. Sivasankar has said that Edappadi Palaniswami is living with God in mind.
In a statement, he said, “The DMK is a corporate company,” and Palaniswami’s AIADMK has become a slave company over the years.
Even a small child would laugh to hear Palaniswami, who lost 10 consecutive elections from 2016 to 2024, say, “No force can stop the AIADMK from forming the government in the upcoming assembly elections.”
Edappadi Palaniswami said, “In 2021, the AIADMK won 10 out of 11 seats in Salem district. This is an AIADMK stronghold.” The DMK alliance won 39 seats in the 2024 parliamentary elections. Does Palaniswami not know that the DMK alliance won first place in 221 of the 234 assembly seats, including those 39 parliamentary seats? Has he forgotten that the 2024 parliamentary elections were ruined by a single breach in Salem, an AIADMK stronghold?
Does Edappadi Palaniswami, who wasted 55,000 laptops by not providing them to students, have any point in talking about laptops?
The Chief Minister is launching the “World in Your Hands” scheme today to provide laptops to 2 million college students. Laptops from world-class companies like Dell, Acer, and HP are being provided to students to strengthen their technical knowledge. These laptops include Intel i3/AMD Ryzen 3 processors, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD, Windows 11 Home Strategic and BOSS Linux OS pre-installed, MS Office 365 for continuous study and project work, and a free six-month subscription to the artificial intelligence software Perplexity Pro. The DMK government is implementing every scheme to ensure that Tamil Nadu students can compete with the world.
Palaniswami is furious to see that the Chief Minister’s schemes are benefiting every section of society, including women, government employees, and students.
When I listen to Palaniswami speak, I’m reminded of the comedy where Vadivelu, without paying, says at a tea stall, “Hey, I have to pretend like I want to drink tea in front of you.” When I’m reading two newspapers at a tea stall, Vadivelu interrupts and gives examples as if he knows everything about the news published in them. That’s why Palaniswami has to make it seem as if all the projects of the Dravidian model government came about because of him. Just as Palaniswami was saying that the DMK government introduced women’s license fees, laptops, etc. because the AIADMK spoke out, Palaniswami has now also interfered with the Pongal gift package. The next time we decide to launch a project, immediately move forward on it, express our opinion on it, and boast that it happened because of them. Is it the job of an opposition party leader to play politics?
Some people have a mindset phobia that says, “Everything happened because of me.” Palaniswami also joined this. Palaniswami lives with a “God complex” that says, “I do everything.”
Opposition leaders are saying such things because they believe our projects have received public support. Palaniswami is also playing politics because of our successful projects. Palaniswami says he is giving away laptops for election eyewash. What can we say about his God complex?
While Edappadi Palaniswami was speaking in Salem, Union Minister Amit Shah, speaking in Pudukkottai, said, “The National Democratic Alliance government will flourish in April. We will share in the path of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.” Amit Shah didn’t even mention Palaniswami by name, instead talking about “coalition rule” and sharing the government. Even though the slave shows his bravery by saying, “Edappadi Palaniswami is the leader of the coalition,” Master Amit Shah refuses to even mention Palaniswami’s name. Is Palaniswami, who is teetering on the edge of “coalition leader,” going to become “Chief Minister”? “Do you need this humiliation?” Palaniswami is the perfect character for actor Vadivelu’s comedy!
