Saiyami Kher impresses Sachin Tendulkar with her ‘Ghoomar’ style of bowling

Mumbai (IANS) Actress Saiyami Kher hosted the screening of “Ghoomar” where cricket god Sachin Tendulkar himself watched the film and praised her performance in the film.

After the screening, he also requests Saiyami to show him Ghoomar Bowling.

Saiyami happily does so and leaves Sachin speechless.

He praised Saiyami’s performance saying, “Sayyami looks very authentic. Her love for cricket and her ability to understand the character was amazing.”

Posting the video on social media, Saiyami said, “What was your childhood dream that you never thought would come true? I believed that someday I would meet my hero, my inspiration, my teacher. I have loved and learned the game by watching him play. I skipped college to watch him play.”

He said that he chanted “Sachinanna Sachinanna” the loudest in the North Stand.

Saiyami said, “So, I can’t describe what it means to me. His 136 in Chennai, the storm in Sharjah, 241 in Sydney, 98 against Pakistan, the list is endless. He makes me happy, He taught me how to fight. He taught me passion, how to never give up, how to work hard and how to stay grounded.”
