Sale of fake army uniforms in Odisha, 488 mts military fatigues seized
Berhampur: There were allegations about the sale of fake army uniforms in Odisha’s Ganjam district, said reports on Monday. In a raid as much as 488 mts of military fatigues were seized. According to reports, a shop called Ganjam Galaxy in Berhampur was raided by the military and the police on the charge of selling Indian army uniforms. As much as 488 meters of war clothes was seized during the raid.
The police registered a criminal case against the shop owner for selling fake army uniforms in Odisha. The clothes were brought by the shopkeepers from Kolkata, said reliable reports in this regard.
Further it is worth mentioning that, the clothes were was coming from Ludhiana to Kolkata and were bought were frequently. The value of the seized clothes is said to be around 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees.
The police is continuing to investigate the place where these clothes were made and the conditions under which they were sold. The Berhampur SP Dr. Vivek M. informed regarding this matter. Detailed reports awaited.
