Sand mine license cancelled, Mineral Department took action
Bilaspur bilaspur news. The Mineral Department has canceled the license of four sand storages who violated the rules and canceled one sand mine. Jindal PRL Infrastructure and others are among those who did not store sand. After the action taken under Chhattisgarh Gaudh Mineral Ordinary Sand Rules 2023, there is panic among other mines and license holders.
The Mineral Department on Thursday canceled the license of four sand storages and one mine. Those whose licenses have been canceled include Jindal PRL Infrastructure Changori Kota, Shivshankar Ratre Sodhakhurd Chhatauna, Rajasatbha Shrivas Nirtu Takhatpur and Kajal Nigam Sodhakhurd Chhatauna, the security amount deposited for recovery of outstanding amount from solar license holders. These storage license holders had not stored sand for a long time nor deposited the annual fee and monthly sheet. They were not doing any kind of work for a long time
According to the officials, the Mineral Department has confiscated the security deposit deposited by these license holders for recovery of dues. The Mineral Department has also cancelled the in-principle consent for sand mining in 4.750 hectares of land given to Gram Panchayat Chhatauna, Kota, the reason for this is said to be non-compliance of the prescribed conditions on time.
