Sandeep Anand called himself a ‘fan actor’, said- ‘I find solace in making people laugh’
Mumbai (IANS). Sandeep Anand has opened up about being cast as a comedy actor to make the audience laugh. In an industry where actors often look to escape typecasting, Sandeep, best known for playing the lead character Sajan Aggarwal in ‘May I Come in Madam’, made his mark as a comedy actor.
He openly recognizes the common perception of typecasting. He talked about his love for the comedy genre.
Expressing his feelings about his connection with comedy, Sandeep shared, “I am a fan actor. I am thrilled with the appreciation and love I get from my fans for my work in the comedy genre. Some people call it typecasting. You can say that, but as long as my audience enjoys my performance, it doesn’t matter to me.
“I find comfort and joy in making people laugh,” he said. The happiness of my fans is my top priority, and no genre or platform can replace the joy of bringing a smile on their faces.”
‘May I come in madam?’ Revolves around the humorous incidents of Saajan, played by Sandeep, in his office. The show also stars Neha Pendse as Sanjana and Sapna Sikarwar as Kashmira Aggarwal.
It will premiere on Star Bharat from 26th September.
