Sanjay Dutt performed ‘Pind Daan’ at Vishnupad temple
Gaya: Actor Sanjay Dutt performed ‘Pind Daan’ at Vishnupad temple in Gaya, Bihar on Thursday. Sanjay prayed for the souls of his late parents Sunil Dutt and Nargis to rest in peace.
Pind Daan is a Hindu ritual that involves paying homage to the deceased. It is performed by relatives of the deceased at three sacred sites in Gaya: the Falgu River, the Vishnupad Temple and the Akshaya Banyan Tree. The ritual can take about two hours and can be completed in a day.

Sharing more details about the film, Sanjay earlier said, “I am happy to support the film, which is exactly the script I was looking for. The film is a perfect blend of comedy and horror, with the right balance of thrill and adventure.” I am very happy to have a production partner in Deepak Mukut, whose cinematic vision and ideals match with mine. I have always wanted to encourage young, fresh talent in the industry and with this film, we are launching a new director with a fresh vision. They have put together a diverse cast and I wish them the best of times and a great shoot.”
