Sarpanch, Clerk Held By ACB In Bribery Case

Palghar:  The Sarpanch and the clerk of Pam Grampanchayat in Palghar Taluka were held by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) for demanding a bribe of ₹60,000 from an owner of a private security service who had applied for a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

The ACB, after the complaint filed by the 38-year-old swiftly sprang into action and caught the accused Darshana Pimple on October 12 after the bribe was handed over to the clerk.
