School teacher raped student
Sambalpur. In Sambalpur district of Odisha, a teacher has sexually exploited a student. After the complaint the teacher has been taken into custody. This incident took place in a school in Panchgachia of Bareipali police station area of Sambalpur. Police is investigating the matter after a case was registered in the police station on charges of sexual harassment of a student. The English teacher who allegedly harassed the student has been identified as Arun Joshi. The police is interrogating the teacher in this matter.
According to the information received, the student was inside the classroom with some of her friends. When the English teacher entered the class, he asked the friends of the victim student to go out. Then the teacher misbehaved with the student. At the same time, today the parents’ association expressed a strong reaction regarding this incident and informed the school chairman about it. On the other hand, on the orders of Sambalpur District Collector, Additional Sub-District Collector reached the spot and conducted investigation. However, response from the concerned teacher could not be received.
