Season 5 of ‘Bigg Boss’ was the most difficult: Amar Upadhyay
New Delhi: Actor Amar Upadhyay, who was the fourth runner-up of the controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss 5’, has called it the most difficult season so far.
‘Bigg Boss 5’ aired from October 2011 to January 2012, with Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt as hosts. The winner of the season was Juhi Parmar.
The contestants in this season were Shakti Kapoor, Pooja Bedi, Shonali Nagrani, Pooja Mishra, Nihita Biswas, Shraddha Sharma, Mandeep Bevil, Rageshwari Loomba, Vida Samadjai, Mehak Chahal, Sonika Kaliraman, Gulabo Sapera, Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi and Juhi.
Wild card entrants included Amar Upadhyay and Sunny Leone.
Recalling the fights that took place in Season 5, Amar told IANS, “The maximum number of fights took place in my season i.e. ‘Bigg Boss 5’. There were fights from the first day till the last day. There are a lot of fights, I will tell you one fight. There were lakhs of fights in ‘Bigg Boss’ season 5. It was one of the toughest seasons out of the last 17 seasons.
Regarding season 17 of the show, Amar said, “I am not following this season because I am shooting for ‘Dori’, so I have not seen anything.”
The actor further said, “Fights are a part of life, whether it is inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house or outside. When you go to the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, you cannot act. You have to be yourself. “The house is such where you don’t know the other partner, you have never lived with them, you don’t know what kind of people they are, so differences arise.”
The ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ fame actor said, “The concept is such that 14-15 people come from different walks of life, different personalities and their clash, I think ‘Bigg Boss’ too It’s a show that goes on forever.”
Amar and actress Sudha Chandran ‘Dori’ will feature Sudha as Kailashi Devi, Amar as Ganga Prasad and child artiste Mahie Bhanushali as young Dori.
The show will soon air on Colors.
