Section 144 implemented in Lucknow

Lucknow. Pran Pratishtha program to be held in Ayodhya on 22 January, Hazrat Ali’s birthday on 25 January, Republic Day on 26 January, Basant Panchami on 14 February, Sant Ravidas Jayanti on 24 February, Shabe Baraat on 26 February and Mahashivratri on 08 March. Many festivals will be organised. Apart from this, many entrance examinations will also be conducted.

Regarding this, Section 144 has been implemented in Lucknow by Upendra Kumar Aggarwal, Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order. He said that due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024, peace may be disrupted due to protests by various political party workers/Indian farmer organizations and various protesters. Due to this, it has been decided to implement Section 144.
