Senior citizen stops CM Siddaramaiah’s car in Bengaluru
Bengaluru (IANS). A senior citizen stopped Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s car, demanding a solution to parking issues.
Senior citizens Narottam lives opposite ‘Kumar Kripa’, the official residence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Apparently Narottam was disappointed that people coming to meet the Chief Minister park their vehicles in front of his gate.
Talking to reporters, the senior citizen said that he and his family members could not get out of the house as the vehicle was parked. To get it removed, I have to go to the Chief Minister’s residence and inquire about the owner of the vehicle.
After an argument with the police, senior citizen Narottam stopped the Chief Minister’s car and prevented him from proceeding further. The Chief Minister has directed the police officer to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
Narottam said that there has been an increase in the number of visitors at the residence of the new chief minister and hence vehicles are parked at several places near his house and his gate is blocked most of the time.
Police officials said that sometimes VIPs and ministers come to meet the chief minister, so it becomes difficult to stop them from parking their vehicles near his residence.
