Manoj Kumar Sahoo appointed as Private Secretary to Odisha CM
Bhubaneswar: Special secretary to the Chief Minister IAS Manoj Kumar Sahoo has been appointed as the Private Secretary to the Chief Minister of Odisha. It was notified by the Govt of Odisha on Saturday.
As per a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department of the Government of Odisha the 2006 batch IAS officer Manoj Kumar Sahoo has been appointed as the Private Secretary to the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
The notification also said that the said post of Private Seceretary to the CM, Odisha is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Special Secretary provided in the IAS Cadre of the State.
IAS Manoj Sahoo has been posted in Odisha through inter-cadre deputation and his first posting is in CMO. He is an AGMUT-cadre IAS officer who was serving as the Deputy Election Commissioner in EC and now posted in Odisha CMO.
