Sewa Nursing Home, Odisha’s Cuttack de-empanelled by BSKY
Cuttack: The Sova Nursing Home in Paga of Cuttack has been de-empanelled from the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) due to serious allegation regarding misuse of BSKY and blatant violation of terms and condition of the MoU.
The Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Odisha in a letter to the Proprietor of Sova Nursing Home, Cuttack said that, the hospital was de-empanelled from Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana with immediate effect due to serious allegation regarding misuse of BSKY and blatant violation of terms and condition of MoU.
It is to be noted that the Commissionerate Police on Friday had arrested the owner and manager for the private hospital for allegedly defrauding beneficiaries of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY). The matter came to fore after death of a patient who was actually admitted to a hospital but was on record showed to had been admitted to another hospital. Madhupatana Police busted the fraud.
