Sextortion game, police caught those who defrauded the people of the country
Jamshedpur: A gang of three youths from Jamshedpur were doing sextortion in the country. These people had committed cyber fraud by trapping many people. Coincidentally, one of their victims also happened to be a person from Jamshedpur. This became the reason for his capture.
After 24 hours of continuous raid, all three were arrested by the police. The arrested accused include Asif Raza, resident of Jugsalai Panchi Mohalla, Jagjit Singh, resident of Parsudih Golpahari and Sameer Sharma, resident of Shankarpur.
The accused told that they first create fake Instagram IDs by posting photos of girls. After this let’s start talking by sending a follow request. Then they play obscene videos and record the screen. After this, they blackmail their relatives by asking them to send them.
These three have made many people their victims till now. The accounts in which they used to withdraw money are also being traced and raided. According to police sources, there are more people associated with this gang who will be arrested.
Police have recovered two mobile phones from the accused. Three fake Instagram IDs and one WhatsApp ID have been recovered from a mobile. Using these they used to make people victims of honey traps. The age of the arrested accused is 18 to 19 years. All have studied in big schools.
