Noida: Many stains are seen on the Noida Police one after the other. Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh has put him on the line after the video of a transaction of Rs 2.5 lakh in Noida’s Sector-113 police station surfaced and the concerned SHO was accused of taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh.
According to the video that surfaced, a transaction of 2.5 lakhs is being done from Noida’s Sector-113 police station. In this, one side is handing over bundles of notes to the other side in the station in-charge’s room. The inspector is sitting on the chair. He himself is making videos. Not only this, he also took a bribe of Rs 2 lakh. The matter is four months old.
But, the video went viral on Monday. After this, the commissioner made the station in-charge spot the line late on Monday night. In fact, a 65-year-old man died of shock due to a crack in his house due to a 5-storey illegal building being constructed in the neighborhood. Such an allegation was made by his relatives.
Satish Yadav, a resident of Sector-113, was constructing a five-storey house in the village. Regarding this, Sanjay, who lives in the neighborhood, had lodged a complaint against Satish in the police station. Sanjay’s allegation was that his house had developed cracks due to the building being constructed by Satish.
After this the station in-charge called both the parties to the police station. The station in-charge got Satish to give two and a half lakh rupees to Sanjay in return for the loss. As a proof, he also made a video and himself took 2 lakh rupees and cleared the matter. However, a few days later Sanjay’s father Rajaram died. The relatives alleged that the father had gone into shock due to the crack in the house. Due to this he died. The relatives put the dead body on the Prithla bridge and blocked it.
On information, the officers reached the spot. He pacified the ruckus by assuring action. After this, the police arrested the accused Satish. On the day of Satish’s arrest, the relatives had complained to ADCP Shakti Mohan Awasthi, making serious allegations against the station in-charge. The police had registered a case against the station in-charge. Satish was released by the police. Regarding the matter, Satish Yadav told that the police station president tried to compromise by showing fear of sending him to jail.
Demanded five lakh rupees for the agreement. But, in the end, a settlement was made between both the parties for 4.50 lakhs. 2.50 lakh was given to Sanjay by the station in-charge in his presence and he himself took two lakh rupees.
