Shocking Crime: A 16-year-old minor raped a 5-year-old girl

Simdega. A 16-year-old minor raped a 5-year-old girl in Simdega. He lured her and took her to the jungle where he committed this crime. The girl living in Simdega district had come home from her school. At that time, a 16-year-old teenager from the village came to her house and took the innocent girl to the jungle on the pretext of feeding her safflower. He took the girl to the jungle and raped her. After the incident, he threatened the girl that it would not be good if she told anyone about this. When the girl reached home crying, the family members asked her what happened. The girl was not in a position to tell anything after this incident. Seeing the condition of the girl, the family members got suspicious.
The family rushed the girl to the hospital where the rape was confirmed. The girl is currently undergoing treatment in Sadar Hospital. There are marks of injury on the girl’s face and body at many places. The girl is very scared. After the case came to light, the police registered an FIR and arrested the youth. Pakar Tand police station in-charge Pradeep Kumar said that the victim’s family took her directly to Sadar Hospital. He has received the information. Police is reaching the hospital. He said that a case will be registered against the accused and action will be taken. The accused has not been arrested yet. The victim’s mother said that a youth from the village took her to the jungle on the pretext of eating safflower and raped her.
