Short Film Festival celebrated on National Road Safety
Raipur. In the series of public awareness educational programs related to various road safety and smooth traffic being organized under the National Road Safety Month 2024, National Road Safety Short Film Festival was organized under the chief hospitality of the eminent Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Vishnu Dev Sai, on 24 January 2024. On the arrival of the Chief Minister at 12 o’clock, there will be a road safety exhibition, release of traffic guide, distribution of prizes to the winners of the film festival and screening of excellent/award-winning films. In the second session of this festival, from 4 pm on 24th January, 2024, and in the third session from 10 am on 24th January, 2024, the selected specific short films have been displayed for the general public. Inter-departmental Lead Agency (Road Safety) Chhattisgarh, Transport Department and Chhattisgarh Police have requested the general public to participate in this important program of road safety awareness.
It is noteworthy that so far, participants from various states of the country like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Bihar, Punjab, Assam, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Delhi, Orissa and other states have participated in this important event. And participants from different areas of Chhattisgarh have been registered. Submissions have been accepted in two categories in the National Road Safety Short Film Festival, Chhattisgarh 2024. These include (1) Chhattisgarhi language (Chhattisgarhi, Godi, Dhurva, Bhatri, Dorli, Sambalpuri, Kudakh, Sadri, Baigani, Kamari, Auriya, Surgujia, Dantewada Godi etc.) and (2) Other Indian languages, subtitles in Hindi for all entries.
