Silver worth Rs 90 lakh seized in Chhattisgarh, police took major action

Durg. A huge quantity of silver items have been recovered from the accused who was doing illegal silver business living in Apapura area of Kotwali police station area of the district. The value of the seized silver is estimated to be around Rs 90 lakh. Police have detained 4 accused including Prakash. Let us tell you that the police has recovered 127 kg of silver items from Prakash Singh of Bihar.

Which also includes 4 kg silver biscuits. According to the information, the accused used to bring goods from a businessman named Sattu Singh from West Bengal and sell them in Durg. When documents were demanded from the accused, no documents were found with him. Police have seized 127 kg of silver under section 102. The police have informed GST and Income Tax officials. The police is interrogating the four accused arrested in the case.
