Sircilla: KTR demands the government to fulfill the promise of ‘Ambedkar Abhaya Hastham’

Sircilla: BRS working president and Sircilla MLA KT Rama Rao demanded that the State government fulfil its promise by announcing Rs 12 lakh assistance to Dalits under Ambedkar Abhaya Hastham in the next budget session. If the government is committed to the welfare of Dalits, it should announce a scheme bigger than Dalit Bandhu launched by BRS chief and former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. To make Dalits prosperous by improving their economic condition, Chandrasekhar Rao launched Dalit Bandhu for the first time since Independence. If the State is sincere in the development of Dalits, it should fulfil its promise to the community by giving Rs 12 lakh under Ambedkar Abhaya Hastham. For the first time in the country, Telangana State Secretariat was named after Dr BR Ambedkar, Rama Rao made these remarks after unveiling the Ambedkar statue at Gollapalli in Yellareddypet mandal on Friday. Later, the BRS Working President attended the oath-taking ceremony of the Sircilla Cooperative Urban Bank Council held at Padmashali Sangam Kalyana Mandapam in Sircilla.
