Sircilla: Textile manufacturer Veldi Hariprasad of textile town Sircilla, who earlier attracted the attention of the entire nation by weaving the G20 logo into a single cloth, has created another record by weaving a golden cloth for Goddess Sita in the temple. The 900-gram sari was made over the course of 20 days using eight grams of gold and 20 grams of silkworms. While the symbols of Ayodhya Ram Temple, Shri Ram Pattabhishekam (coronation) and Jai Shri Ram (Telugu) are woven on one side border of the saree, the symbols of Jai Shri Ram (Hindi) are woven on the other side. Images of Shri Ram were placed in the double portion (Kongu) of the saree and the remaining part of the saree covered the ten stages of Ramayana from the birth of Shri Ram to the coronation. Hariprasad and his wife Rekha, who have been invited to attend the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi on January 26, will show their sarees to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a statement given to Telangana Today, Hariprasad felt happy in donating a saree to Goddess Sita on the occasion of the consecration of Sri Ram temple.
