Six lakh rupees were embezzled by fraud, police started investigating the case
Jaipur (Rajasthan): A case of embezzlement of Rs 6 lakh by fraud has come to light in Ajmer. The victim alleges that two of the accused are police officers and were threatening him. After complaining to the IG, a case has been registered at Christianganj police station. The police is investigating the case.
Rameshwar Lal Parihar (67), son of Mohan Lal Parihar, resident of Nai Basti Lohakhan Ajmer, told in his complaint to the IG that he had made a deal of a plot of land in Kabir Nagar, Ajmer with Jagdish Prasad, son of Ramaram in 2012. Jagdish’s real brother Rajendra Prasad signed as a witness. An amount of forty thousand advance (sai pate) was given to Bhanwar Singh son of Laxman Singh for the plot. Rajendra assured that the plot was his own, the agreement would be signed by Bhai Jagdish. Rajendra was in the police so he trusted him. He himself said that the remaining amount of Rs 5 lakh should be given to Jagdish, on which payment was made through cheque.
Jagdish himself told that the registry of the plot will be done by Ashok’s son Bhanwarlal nephew, because the power of attorney of the plot is in the name of Ashok. Then on December 12, 2022, Ashok got the plot registered. But kept procrastinating on handing over the possession. Rajendra later told that a mistake was made and the plot was registered twice. Give forty thousand rupees for this so that after improving the registry, I will get you the possession of the plot. Then after some time Rajendra and Jagdish said that this is the plot, take possession of it.
When I started working on this plot, Babulal Tepan, who is a police officer, said that this plot was his. Registry was shown to Babulal Tepan, but he did not agree and said to forget the plot. After this, Rajendra and Jagdish told Ashok and asked him to talk, but the matter was not resolved. The accused cheated and embezzled six lakh eighty thousand rupees. Babulal is now digging a tank on the plot and getting the construction work done, when he was interrupted he said go away, otherwise I will break my hands and legs. Therefore action should be taken. Police have registered the case and handed over the investigation to ASI Kumbharam.
