Skeletal of human head found in forest, sensation spread

Balod. A sensation spread this evening when a skeleton was found in the forests of village Daihan under Balod police station area of the district. The head of the skeleton was found separated from the torso. Police have expressed suspicion of murder or some incident. At present, Balod police has registered a case and is further investigating the skeleton. Balod police station in-charge Ravi Shankar Pandey said, “Information was received that the head of a skeleton was lying in a disfigured state in the forest. After which the team of the police station reached there and started investigation. The skeleton was seized by the police after taking Panchnama action. Police have registered a case and are investigating.

According to the police, the head of the skeleton is in bad condition. Half of the jaw has gone missing, due to which the police have expressed fear of some untoward incident. Police is investigating from all angles. The skeleton can also be sent to the forensic lab, so that along with the DNA test, its remaining parts can also be searched. The forest in Balod police station area where this human head skeleton was found is a very isolated area and is surrounded by dense trees and plants. Therefore, finding the remaining parts of this skeleton is challenging. At present, the police have registered a case and are investigating further.
