Smoke emanates from Chennai-Bengaluru Express causing panic
Amaravati (IANS). Passengers panicked after smoke billowed out of the Chennai-Bengaluru Double Decker Express in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
The incident is of Thursday. Due to smoke coming out of a coach, there was chaos among the passengers.
Seeing the smoke, the passengers of S6 coach pulled the chain and got down.
The incident took place near Kuppam town in Chittoor district.
According to railway officials, smoke was noticed minutes after the train passed Gudiyattam railway station.
Officials said the smoke was due to brake jam. Nothing happened to anyone in the incident.
After fixing, the train resumed the journey.
