Snake bit the farmer, death
Balrampur. As soon as the rainy season starts in the district, the cases of snakebite have started increasing. A snake bitten a farmer who had gone to plant paddy crop in Gram Panchayat Bagra of Ramchandrapur block area. When the condition started getting worse after the poison spread, the relatives took him to the hospital, but the farmer died during treatment.
Farmer Nandu Pal went to Bagra village panchayat under Ramchandrapur development block to get paddy planted in his field. Farmer Nandu Pal was sitting on a ram built on the edge of the field. Meanwhile, suddenly a poisonous snake bit him in the elbow of his right hand. After biting the snake, the farmer reached his home after walking about one kilometer and informed the relatives about the snake bite. On hearing this, the senses of the family members flew away. He was immediately taken to Ramanujganj Community Health Center but the doctors declared him dead. Nandupal had died on the way. Postmortem of the deceased was done at Ramanujganj Hospital and the dead body was handed over to the relatives for the last rites. On getting information about this whole matter, former Home Minister of Chhattisgarh Ramvichar Netam also reached the Community Health Center to console the family members.
