Snowfall alert for next 6 to 7 days in Kedarnath Dham
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of snowfall in Kedarnath Dham for the next 6 to 7 days. In view of this, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar has instructed Rudraprayag Superintendent of Police, district administration and concerned department officials to coordinate and take necessary action. He has asked for wide publicity through social media platforms, news channels and newspapers regarding continuous snowfall in Kedarnath Dham.
Let us tell you, the doors of Baba Kedar will be opened for the devotees tomorrow at 6:20 am in Mesh Lagna. Rawal Bhima Shankar Ling of Kedarnath has left for Kedarnath from Ukhimath today. Baba Kedar’s Chal Utsav Vigraha Doli reached its last stop Gaurikund on Sunday. Where Doli did night stay in Gauri Mai temple.
The doli will reach its abode Kedarnath on Monday. On Sunday morning at 7 a.m. the appointed priest for Kedarnath Shivling performed aarti and bhog after anointing Baba Kedar in Phata. Also discharged other religious traditions.
