Social Justice and Empowerment Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated MR Home and Hostels

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Mr. Tikaram Julie inaugurated Government Devnarayan Girls’ College level hostel and Government Scheduled Caste Hostel Goner Jaipur in Social Justice Complex Jamdoli and laid the foundation stone of Mentally Retarded Women’s Wing, Chief Minister’s Rehabilitation Home (Men and Women) and EWS Hostel. Along with this, virtual inauguration of kitchen modernization of 548 hostels in the state was also done.
He said that taking initiative by the Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot, a budget of about Rs 100 crore has been given for the renovation of the hostels, due to which the mess system of the departmental hostels has been modernized and strengthened. He said that LED TV, computer with printer, steel rack, deep freezer, refrigerator, kitchen geyser, mixer grinder, dining table set, gas stove/furnace and utensils RO etc. are included under the strengthening.
Mr. Julie did tree plantation-
Tree plantation was also done by Shri Julie on this occasion. He observed various development works being done at Jamdoli campus and also presented saplings to the children.
Eating with kids
Shri Tikaram Julie had dinner with the children of the newly constructed hostel after the foundation stone laying and inauguration program and also served food to them. He also clicked selfies with the kids.
Enjoyed the band performance of the children of the mental and depressed home.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Tikaram Julie also enjoyed the band playing by the children of the Mental and Demented Home located at Jamdoli. He heard the songs from the children and appreciated them.
On this occasion, Dr. Samit Sharma, Government Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Prahlad Sahay Naga, Additional Director (Scholarship and Hostel), Mrs. Reena Sharma, Additional Director (Backward Castes), various departmental officers, employees and children were present.
