Solan man admitted in IGMC dies of scrub typhus

Shimla. Neither the cases of scrub typhus are stopping nor the number of deaths due to it. A 50-year-old man from Solan has succumbed to the disease at IGMC. On Tuesday, 34 samples of scrub typhus have been tested in IGMC, out of which 8 people have come positive and 1 person has died. The number of deaths due to this disease in IGMC has reached 11 so far. Apart from this, 1 person has been found positive in the testing of 4 samples of Hepatitis-A and so far 99 cases of Hepatitis-A have been found positive, while 10 cases of Hepatitis-E have been reported so far.
