Son attacked with vegetable cutting tool, criminal father arrested

Mahasamund: A scary case has come to light from the district. In a state of intoxication, the father has hit the eyes of his 5-year-old innocent son with a hammer. The child has been seriously injured in the attack. The child has been referred to Raipur after first aid for treatment. The police have arrested the accused father in the case. This matter is of Pithora police station area.

According to the information, the village belongs to Thakurdiyakhurd under Pithora police station area. Accused Gajanand Sinha had a dispute over demanding money from his mother for drinking alcohol. During this, an angry Kalyugi’s father hit the eyes of his 5-year-old son Jai Sinha with a vegetable cutter. One eye of the child has been completely damaged in this fatal attack. The child has been referred to Raipur for proper treatment. As soon as the incident was reported, the police took action and arrested the accused father. Action is being taken in the matter under section 326.
