Son caught stealing then murdered his mother, arrested
Raipur. The accused son P. Nageswara Rao, who murdered the mother, has been arrested. P. Gaurishankar Rao lodged a report in DD Nagar police station that his wife, son and daughter live on rent in Indraprastha Colony, DD Nagar. At 03.50 pm on 01.01.2024, the applicant’s daughter told him on the phone that she is calling her mother, she is not picking up the phone, go and find out. On which the applicant went to his house in Indraprastha and found that the front door of the house was open, his wife was lying on the ground and there was blood flowing on the ground on her head. The mobile was lying on the ground in two parts and was dead. The vest of the applicant’s son P. Nageshwar Rao alias Ankur is hanging on the clothes rope of the house which has blood on it. The applicant’s son was not at home and his mobile was also said to be switched off. The applicant has expressed suspicion that his son caused the death of his wife. On which crime number 05/24 section 302 IPC has been registered against the accused in police station D.D.Nagar. The crime of was registered.
Under the direction of senior officers, the joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and DD Nagar police station, along with detailed interrogation of the applicant, inspected the incident site and started locating the accused. The team members traced the applicant’s son P. Nageswara Rao alias Ankur and conducted raids in every possible place of his hiding place and arrested the accused P. Nageswara Rao. On strict interrogation, the accused told that he was demanding money from his mother and when she did not give him the money, he was stealing the money and when his mother saw it, he pushed his mother to the ground and then He killed him by beating his head on the ground and ran away. On which the accused P. Nageshwar Rao alias Ankur was arrested and action was taken against the accused by seizing cash of Rs 2100/- and two-wheeler Scooty related to the incident from his possession.
