Son strangled mother to death, accused arrested

Raigarh. In-charge Lailunga sub-inspector Ramashankar Tiwari got the information about the murder of a middle-aged woman by strangling her son in Kamarga village of Lailunga police station. Station in-charge Lailunga immediately reached the spot with his staff after informing the senior officers about the incident. Where village Sarpanch Darshan Sidar told that on the morning of July 4, Survey Sidar of the village went to Survey Sidar’s house after getting information about his mother Kamla Sidar (56 years) being assaulted. Survey Sidar was present in the house.

The one who told that when he returned home after drinking alcohol in the morning, the mother taunted him by saying that he does not do work, due to which, in a fit of rage, he beat him with the firewood of the inn kept in the Survey Sidar house and strangled him to death. The Lailunga police conducted the post-mortem of the dead body after the Panchanama proceedings and registered the crime of murder against the accused Survey Sidar on the spot and seized important evidence from the scene and Sarai wood on the memorandum of the accused. Accused Survey Sidar’s father Late. Guruvaru Sidar, aged 36 years, resident of village Kamarga police station Lailunga, was arrested today for the crime of murder and sent on judicial remand.
