Punjab: Chief Secretary’s instructions to provide services on time

Punjab: Amid public outrage over long delays in delivery of public services allegedly due to corruption, the state government has decided to ensure timely delivery.

In a letter to all public departments, Chief Secretary KAP Sinha has sought a list of all applications for various public services that have not been delivered. “Keeping applications pending for a long time is a way of looking for corruption. This will not be tolerated,” he said.
