State government took unilateral action in Biranpur case: Arun Sao
Raipur. In the Biranpur case, the court has acquitted 8 out of 11 accused. On this, BJP state president Arun Sao targeted the state government and said that unilateral action was taken against the majority Hindu community. People were put in jail by creating a false case of arson on Hindu society. We will go among the public regarding this issue. BJP state president Arun Sao said in a press conference that on April 8, an innocent youth Bhuneshwar Sahu was murdered. Incidents of Love Jihad were taking place in that area, that was the background of this murder. On April 10, we were not allowed to meet our family members. The state government took unilateral action in the matter. Sao alleged that the government is taking unilateral action against the majority Hindu community. Only 11 people were arrested, while 40 people were named. The case of arson was blamed on Hindu community, policemen went to their houses. Fear and pressure worked. He said that it became clear from the decision of the Sessions Court that the allegations we were making were based on facts. Arun Sao said that we will go among the public regarding this issue. There should be a fair investigation to get justice for Bhuneshwar Sahu. Every culprit should be punished severely. This is a very serious matter. On whose instructions this false action was taken, it will be known after an impartial investigation. The state government has tried to give it a communal colour.
