Stepfather raped minor daughters, caught red handed
Ghaziabad: A case of rape of minor daughters by stepfather has come to light in Madhuban Bapudham police station area of Ghaziabad. The incident came to light when the wife caught the accused red handed while committing the crime on Tuesday evening. After this, the wife appealed to the ACP for action. The police have arrested the accused.
The woman living in Madhuban Bapudham police station area says that her first marriage took place in Bijnor. After marriage, she gave birth to two daughters. Due to differences, she got divorced from her first husband, after which she started living separately with her two daughters. According to the woman, some time ago she got married to Sharafat, a resident of Vivekanand Nagar.
Sharafat started living in Madhuban Bapudham police station area with her and both the daughters. According to the woman, she had gone out for some work on October 15. When she returned in the afternoon, her husband Sharafat was raping her 14-year-old younger daughter. On asking, the daughter told that Sharafat had been raping her for about six months. He threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
According to the woman, the younger daughter told that the father used to rape the elder sister as well. The woman says that the accused got the daughter married despite her being a minor. The woman has accused her mother-in-law of supporting her husband. ACP Kavinagar Abhishek Srivastava says that a case of rape has been registered and the accused has been arrested. The role of the accused’s mother is being investigated.
