Stolen car of BJP President JP Nadda’s wife recovered, 2 arrested, drove around in many cities
New Delhi: The Fortuner which was stolen from BJP President JP Nadda’s wife last month has been recovered from Banaras. This Fortuner was stolen from Govindpuri area of Delhi on March 19. On the complaint of the driver, the police had registered an FIR and after this the police launched a major operation to search the car. According to the police, Shahid and Shivang Tripathi, residents of Badkal, have been arrested in the case of theft of this SUV. The accused had come in a Creta car to steal the car. After taking it to Badkal, he changed the number plate of the Fortuner and then reached Banaras via Aligarh, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bareilly, Sitapur, Lucknow. The accused were planning to send the car to Nagaland and it was stolen after demand. In this case, driver Joginder told in the complaint that at around 3 pm on March 19, he had parked the car at the service center and had gone home to have dinner, but when he came back, the car was missing. According to the CCTV footage received by the police, the Fortuner was last seen going towards Gurugram.
