Strange scenes were seen on the first day in Madhya Pradesh Vidhansabha
Bhopal (IANS). The last session of the 15th Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh began on Tuesday. Strange scenes were witnessed in the Vidhan Sabha premises before the proceedings of the House began. Some MLAs arrived wearing garlands of tomatoes and vegetables, while others carried Baba Mahakal’s picture in their hands.
Being the last session of the 15th Legislative Assembly of the state, the ruling party and the opposition are aggressive and both do not want to lag behind in attacking each other.
This is the reason why Kalpana Verma, MLA from Raigaon in Satna district reached the assembly premises wearing a garland of tomatoes and other vegetables to protest against the rising inflation of tomatoes, vegetables and other items.
He expressed concern over inflation. Similarly, Congress MLA Mahesh Parmar from Ujjain’s Nagda-Khachraud area arrived with a picture of Baba Mahakal in his hand and said that the scam in Mahakal Lok has tarnished the entire state worldwide.
It may be noted that the last session of the state assembly is of five days. This session will continue till July 15. The first session was to start from July 10, which was shifted from July 11 with mutual consent.
