Stubble openly set on fire in Jalandhar

Jalandhar. Despite the strict order of the Supreme Court, stubble burning is not stopping in Punjab. Cases of stubble burning are coming to light every day against which action is also being taken.

According to the news received, a landowner has set fire to stubble on a large scale along the highway in Pind Dashmesh Nagar, near Kang Sabu on Jalandhar Nakodar Highway.

DC has also ordered that strict action will be taken against those who are polluting Punjab. But today it is being seen that even their orders are being flouted and stubble is being burnt in the fields on a large scale.
