Student kidnapped from West Bengal, found in Odisha, 12 arrested
Balasore: A student kidnapped from West Bengal has been found in Balasore district of Odisha, said reports on Sunday. According to reports, the student was abducted from Shantiniketan in West Bengal and was rescued from Talsari in Balasore district of Odisha.Reports say that, with the help of the Odisha Police, the West Bengal Police have rescued the abducted youth identified as Pannakara from Odisha.It is worth mentioning that, the police have arrested 12 people in this connection. According to the complaint, the kidnapping had been centered around money laundering.
It is reported that, hair was being smuggled from West Bengal to Myanmar. Pannakar had a meeting with some youths of Kolkata two months ago. Later, he planned to take up the hair trade business. Pannakara was a mediator because he knew Burmese, Bengali and English. Pannakara, a student from Shantiniketan in West Bengal. He was staying in the hostel and doing PG.Reports say that, less than two days ago he was kidnapped. He was kidnapped from the hostel to get the rest of the money. The West Bengal Medinapur police station started an investigation following the complaint of Pannakara’s abduction.Furthermore, Pannakara’s mobile phone was tracked and his location was found to be at Talasari beach in Balasore. Later, Talsari Marine Police Station rescued Panna with the help of the Balsore police. After the arrest of the accused, the West Bengal Police is continuing further investigation into the incident.
