Student organization demands to give full official language status to Chhattisgarhi

Raipur. Chhattisgarhi Jurav program was organized to give Chhattisgarhi the status of full official language. Under the joint aegis of MA Chhattisgarhi Student Organization and Mor Chinhari Chhattisgarhi, a Chhattisgarhi Jurav program took place this morning near the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari located at Ghadi Chowk, Raipur.

President of the organization, Rituraj Sahu said that Chhattisgarhi should be given the status of full official language, all the ministers and MLAs should be motivated to take oath in the official language Chhattisgarhi, the local Chhattisgarhi language should be implemented by implementing the new education policy in the state, Chhattisgarhi should be used in government departments. This program was organized so that work should be done in the language and the proceedings of the Assembly should be conducted in the official language Chhattisgarhi.

He said, Chhattisgarhi should become the language of employment. Regarding all these agendas, MA Chhattisgarhi degree holders, team of Mor Chinhauri organization, language lovers, litterateurs, YouTubers, journalists will come together and raise their voice for Chhattisgarhi. It is worth noting that it has been 23 years since the state was formed, but till now Chhattisgarhi language has not got the respect it deserves. It is a different matter that the then Raman Singh government had formally given it the status of official language in 2007, but this language has been given the status of official language only on paper.
