Studies stopped, 3 thousand teachers went on leave in this district
Raigarh. 3 thousand teachers of LB cadre in Raigarh will be on leave on Thursday. They will sit on a dharna at Shaheed Colonel Viplav Tripathi Mini Stadium regarding their demands. For this, the LB cadre of teachers has made almost all the preparations.
It is being told that under the last service calculation mission, the teachers’ organization had applied to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Finance Minister OP Choudhary and senior officials of the department through the collector regarding many demands including service calculation from the date of appointment.
But if the demands are not met, they had informed about taking a mass leave on October 24 and protesting. In such a situation, on Thursday, more than 3000 teachers of the LB cadre of the district will take a day’s leave and sit on a dharna.
On the call of Chhattisgarh Teachers Sangharsh Morcha, teachers will take a mass leave and sit on a dharna in all the district headquarters of the state. In such a situation, Raigarh District Coordinator Netram Sahu, Bhojram Patel, Sachidanand Patel, Nohar Singh Sidar, Gurudev Rathore, Sapna Dubey, Gayatri Thakur, Binesh Bhagat have also asked all the LB cadre teachers to take part in this movement.
