Suicide in the bridge, dead body of a young man who had gone out for a walk

Durg: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself on the Tandula river bridge on Nikum road in Anda police station area. When the father saw the hanging body of his son, he reported the matter to the police station. The police have started investigation by sending the body to the PM.

Anda police station in-charge Anand Ram Shukla said that on Friday evening he had received information that a youth had committed suicide by hanging himself on the bridge being built on the Tandula river. Krishna Patel, a resident of Vinayakpur Patel Para, himself went to the police station and informed that his 29-year-old son Lalit Kumar Patel had committed suicide. The station in-charge sent SI Dinesh Verma to the spot. The police got the body brought down from the noose. After this the body was sent to the mortuary for PM. Police say that they are investigating the matter to find out the reasons why Lalit committed suicide.

Father Krishna Patel told that Lalit had left home at 5:30 am on Friday, December 1, saying that he was going for a walk. When the villagers went out there in the morning, they saw that he had hanged himself. After this he informed Lalit’s family. When he reached the spot after getting information, he saw that his son was hanging from the noose.
