Amul Dairy had recently increased the prices of milk. However, Sumul Dairy, the largest distributor of milk in South Gujarat and Surat Tapi district, did not increase the price. But today a circular has been published and the price of milk has been increased. Due to which now it is the turn of the public to bear another blow of inflation.
Rs 1 hike in 500 ml sachets
As per the details of this price hike, the price of 500ml pouch of cow’s milk has been increased by Re 1, apart from Amul Shakti, Amul Gold, Amul Taj and Amul Slim Trim, distributed by Sumul Dairy. Accordingly, there has been an increase of Rs. 2 in the total price of one liter of milk. While the prices of 250 ml milk pouch and 500 ml buttermilk pouch have not been increased. But the price of 6 liters of buttermilk has been increased by Rs.6.
