T20 match: Electricity bill of Rs 3 crore 25 lakh could not be paid

Raipur: This time the T20 match is being held at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium through Jugaad. It is being told that electricity will be provided from a generator and matches will be conducted. This is also a matter of shame. Temporary electricity connection was given on the application of PWD and Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association. The match ticket is also said to be much higher than the stadium tickets in other states. There is serious resentment regarding this matter among the sports lovers of Chhattisgarh.

Electricity bill of Rs 3.25 crore

The stadium organizers have not settled the electricity bill of Rs 3.25 crore since 2018. Due to which electricity has been cut. Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association is not behind in winning accolades in the country. Let us tell you that the T20 match is to be held on 1 December 2023 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in the capital Raipur.
