Raigarh. A shocking incident that shames humanity has come to light in the district. A father allegedly raped his 16-year-old daughter after threatening and intimidating her. The victim has filed a report, and the women’s police station has taken the accused into custody and initiated further proceedings.

According to the information received, the 16-year-old girl, a resident of the Chakradhar Nagar police station area, lived with her parents and two younger brothers. Her mother worked as a domestic helper, while her father stayed at home and did not work. He frequently physically abused his children over trivial matters. On January 26, 2023, the girl went to a park with her friends, wearing new clothes, and was taking pictures. Her father saw her there, and when she returned home, he confronted her.

The next day, when the girl’s mother and two brothers were not at home, her father started shouting at her and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her after physically assaulting her. When the girl resisted, he threatened to kill her and her entire family.
